No littering. All aid stations will be equipped with a garbage bin or carry your refuse until you reach a garbage bin. There are no exceptions to this rule. Violators will be penalized, disqualified and or fined. All spectators are also bound by this no littering rule.

No short cuts. Racers must follow the trail as indicated by the markers.

Do not leave the race course. This is for your own safety. Any competitor that drops out of the race must notify the nearest course marshal. In the event of an injury and you are unable to proceed please have another racer contact the nearest race marshal. There will be race marshals following the racers on mountain bikes.

Race officials may remove any racer from the race course if, in their sole opinion, it is unsafe for the racer to proceed due to injury, dehydration, hypothermia etc.

Cut Off Times
The aid station cut off times are established for your own safety and apply to marathon runners only. Any person not making the cut off times is likely injured or in jeopardy of finishing the race. You will be directed by race officials to remain at the aid station and will be transported back to the start off the race. The aid station cut off times are:
- 2nd Powderface road crossing (Aid station 3) -- 12:00pm
- Powderface parking lot (Aid station 4) -- 2:00pm
